  The RBI is a substation class bypass switch that can be used as a regulator bypass or recloser bypass if line protection is not required. The switch features the same great design characteristics as the LCO-C giving you the Cleaveland/Price advantage.
The RBI uses three parallel blades with the center blade providing the bypass function and the outer blades isolating the regulator or recloser. It can be provided with optional quick break whips for interrupting magnetizing current if needed.
